The Sterling Singers is a quality community choir whose main mission is to testify, through music, of the Lord Jesus Christ and inspire its audiences to follow His teachings.  Its repertoire includes the works of the masters as well as timeless music from contemporary composers.

The Sterling Singers is a volunteer community choir of over 300 active singers from throughout the Wasatch Front. Sterling Brimley founded the choir in 1994 with only 30 singers. Two years later, after Kelly DeHaan became its conductor and artistic director, the choir grew in skill and to its current size. The Sterling Singers perform several concerts a year, free to the public. Venues include the Salt Lake Tabernacle on Temple Square, Abravanel Hall and Libby Gardner Concert Hall at the University of Utah campus. In addition to entertaining the public with yearly traditional Christmas concerts, past performances have included a concert of Dr. Crawford Gates' works, as well as the debut of his original opera, Joseph, Joseph; the Requiems of Brahms, Rutter, and Fauré; John Rutter's Gloria and Magnificat; the 150th Commemoration of the Mormon Battalion; and special concerts of patriotic and other music. The choir is in frequent demand to sing their sacred musical selections in LDS Worship Services and Stake Firesides.
